Demand Response
This is real — the single highest spike each day, all year. This is what we use, and what our system flags on its own.
Most days are calm. A handful of days jump up red — and those few set the demand charge for the whole year. You can pay all year for what happened on three or four of them.
For this building they’re cold-morning startup surges: everything switching on at once before dawn. Seen coming, they can be ridden down — stage the startup, ease it in with optimal-start. Drag the cap to see the billable demand you’d avoid.
